HONG KONG SPORTS ASSOCIATION OF THE DEAF

HONG Kong, China Sports Association of the Deaf (referred to as HKSAD) is a non-profit sports association. It was established and registered as a society on April 6, 1983, and became a member of the International Committee of Sports for the Deaf(ICSD) on July 6, 1984(French: Comite International des Sports des Sourds.English:International Committee of Sports for the Deaf. HKSAD is the sole representative sports organization for Hong Kong in overseas deaf sports events. Its services are dedicated to deaf/hearing-impaired athletes. Over the years, HKSAD has provided numerous training programs and led Hong Kong's deaf/hearing-impaired athletes to participate in international deaf sports events abroad.

Purpose and Goals

The purpose of the Hong Kong Sports Association of the Deaf (HKSAD) is to contribute to the development of deaf sports in Hong Kong.
